Setting multiple email ID in Thunderbird

It very easy to setup and using multiple email identities at desktop email client Thunderbird. Multi identities can be useful when multi situations admitting used of sub-addressing to fighting spam.

By using a set of custom settings of mail account, forward messages from different e-mail, using a catch all account for a domain and various more.

Email identities may created in account settings of Thunderbird email client. Account settings reached by the top tools menu. Then user needs to decide one of the configuration of email accounts. Button Manage Identities should shown at the menu and also showing several information about email account select.

Setting multiple email ID in Thunderbird

It’s possible adding or edit email identities. For example conceivable to select another SMTP server, changing mail folder, using digital signature or vcard, and specify another different email address. Email address may the same but it doesn’t have to be.

It’s still possible adding a whole unrelated email address for a new identity. You could forced out send email that seems like its coming from any email account.
