SURALP: The First Turkish Iron Man Robot
I’m sure all of you have been saw many humanoid robots were showed off on exhibitions and here, on internet. One question, where most of them have been created? I’m pretty sure you’ll say Japan or USA. Yes, those two countries are two of popular countries which often doing robotics development (especially Japan).
But, how about Turkey? Have you been saw any humanoid robots which created from there? If not, well, you should see the SURALP.
SURALP — Sabancı University Robot Research Laboratory Platform, becoming the first humanoid robot from Turkey and, as you can see on its name, SURALP is a creation, a masterpiece by researchers from Sabanci University, Istanbul.
Designed like an Iron Man in the movie which has 164cm for its tall, 114kg for its weigh and has 29 joints for its movement ability divided 6 for each arms (12), 6 for each legs (12), 2 on the neck, and one in the torso. Developed since eight years ago and this robot has been done with a grant for $1 million. Has been demonstrated a couple of days ago at a press conference in Turkey. This robot danced and answered several questions with the yes or no answers.

October 20 to Discover the Lion behind the Apple's Logo
Announced today, an event will be held by Apple at their Cupertino headquarters next October 20 in order to bring a new product for their Mac, as you can see at the picture above, “Back to the Mac”.

The Traccia is designed — as you can see — it’s held as a pen. Google Develops the Self-Driving Cars
I think, perhaps all of you will also think same like me, tomorrow there will be not anymore road traffic accidents if the Google’s cars have been available for public.
The distinguished Google Software Engineer, Sebastian Thrun posted in Google’s blog on Saturday,
“…we’re working on today is car safety and efficiency. Our goal is to help prevent traffic accidents, free up people’s time and reduce carbon emissions by fundamentally changing car use.”
