Nintendo Zii, The Next Generation of Wii?
Nintendo have patented the name ‘Zii’ in Japan. Name prepared as a replacement Nintendo latest console Wii.
But it is not known for sure, whether the Wii will be a substitute for the Nintendo Wii, or other hardware that Nintendo will be issued.
Console companies from Japan did not want to comment on the mystery of ‘Zii’.
Wii aged only four years. The fifth video game console Nintendo’s successor to the Nintendo GameCube was first introduced in the Tokyo Game Show 2005 on September 16, 2005. In the U.S. Wii was released in 2006. Nintendo made the console is known as a competitor of Microsoft Xbox360 and Sony Playstation3.
Wii claimed still control the world console market. According to the calculation of the analysts, the Wii has the potential to control 49 percent of U.S. and European markets until the end of 2009. Followed by the Xbox 360 by 29 percent and was followed by the PS3 in order with the smallest percentage of 22 percent.
