Nintendo of Japan has made an announcement regarding the latest games for the Wii. Coming from an RPG developer, Mistwalker, is a game with the title The Last Story is being prepared to appear on this year. Besides the logo of the game enough to remind gamers with the logo of the previous RPG series also raised by Sakaguchi’s name, apparently no more detailed information on business gameplay, story, or time release explained.
Mistwalker itself has established a good relationship with Nintendo through a number of his RPG for the Nintendo DS. Among these are ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat (2007) which was developed with Racjin, Blue Dragon Plus (2008) with the cooperation and Feelplus Brownie Brown, Away Shuffle Dungeon (2008) with Artoon, and also Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow (2009), which assisted by tri-Crescendo and Bird Studio. The Last Story will be the first time for Mistwalker to expand coverage to the Nintendo Wii console.
Implementation of motion control by Sakaguchi team will certainly be interesting to be expected, as well as the name and logo that resembles a previous masterpiece. After so many years with “final fantasy” is not ending, it’s time for “the last story” from Sakaguchi. It is interesting to look forward.
