Gmail Now Allows You View Word Documents in Your Browser

Gmail now supports the capability to see Microsoft Word documents in your browser with simply a one click. The Google Docs viewer that manages the new tasks already provides single-click seeing of PDF, Powerpoint as well as TIFF files.

The Word Doc seeing functionality works the equal way as it does for the other backed file formats; just click the “View” link at the underside of a Gmail message with a Word doc attached to view the file featured in your browser, without must open a detached application. From there you could as well download the document to your desktop or click “Edit online” to direct entry into edit mode in Google Docs.

It’s a little update with large productivity implications for those who utilize as well as share Word docs often. What other file formats have to Gmail support with single-click viewing?
