Japanese comic characters who have explored iconic film industry through the latest animated film ‘Astro Boy’. Imagi International film studio to produce? Astro Boy? by using Autodesk Maya software. Maya is the core component in the process of filmmaking that runs non-stop, both in Hong Kong and Hollywood.
Osamu Tezuka first introduced the comic series of Astro Boy, a robot boy who never grew old, in the 1950s. Along with its popularity, the comic was later developed into a black and white cartoons for television in 1963, the first Japanese TV series that uses an aesthetic that is now known as the anime world. On October 23, 2009, was launched early appearance ‘Astro Boy’ in the cinema through an animated film.
Imagi Studios has released an investment of USD65 million for the creation of ‘Astro Boy’. This film production process involves the formation of concepts and characters, script writing and the initial design was done by a team in Los Angeles, while the Hong Kong team consisting of 400 artists to concentrate on making models, textures, animation, lighting, rendering, and integration tasks.
Imagi Studios main business is to develop and produce animated movies computer. Released in 2007, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ are also produced by these companies using Maya. When launched, the film has ranked first in the United States box office, the first time for an animated film produced in Asia.
