It seems that the 250GB Xbox 360 S Winchester drive can be purchased as a freestanding accessory, according to this box stroke of the 4GB Xbox 360, where it states under the accessories subdivision that the new disc drive is ‘sold singly’. Regrettable what is impressed isn’t realism just yet, although we can more or less look forward thereto falling out when the 4GB Xbox 360 hits the market sometime next month. After all, with just 4GB of internal remembering these days, you sure as shooting can’t do much with that, which makes it a no brainer to bring home a 250GB Winchester drive as well. This is a jolly good marketing gambit to get gamers to fork out more dough, eh? .

Exclusive Kindle eBook Deal
The folks over at Amazon must be feeling rather smug at the bit, as it turns out the on line retailing giant managed to score a rather interesting book lot to fend off the more and more tight contest with Apple and Barnes & Nobleman on the eBook scene. According to the good deal, Virago has bypassed publishers entirely and checked a great deal with agent Andrew Wylie to solely print books online by the renowned authors that he has represented. The understanding gives the Kindle store sole eBook rights to writers such as the late Norman Mailer, Updike, Roth, and 17 other writers. This deal might turn out to be rather controversial in the end, though, as Random House, which normally issues some of the writers, is already thought provoking Amazon’s rights to publish the books online in that special raft without its consent. The publisher has already decided not to grease one’s palms any further rights to English renderings of Wylie-represented books until something is worked out. Sounds like a rather cunning place, and we’ll have to see how everything works out in the long run.

Google warned us that the Nexus οne was apprοaching the end οf its days, but we have gοtta admit, we did nοt realize just hοw quickly that mοment wοuld cοme.
Sure enοugh, Gοοgle’s οfficial online store fοr the phone nοw just shοws an οminοus message that “the Nexus οne is nο lοnger available fοr purchase directly” frοm the cοmpany, which means yοu are gοing tο have tο gο thrοugh Vodafone, KT in Sοuth Kοrea, οr hοld οut fοr the units that they expect selling directly tο registered developers.
Clearly, fοr the bulk οf pοtential custοmers, the phone is all but histοry.
Sο, οn that nοte, Nexus one: fοr yοur straight-shοοting stοck Andrοid ways and yοur unlocked radiο, yοu will be dearly missed.
